What is the Heritage Quest Centre?
The Heritage Quest Centre project will provide a new resource centre to house the Museum’s reserve collections of irreplaceable geology, archaeology, local history and natural history. It will improve public access to these collections through a programme of activities at the Centre and around the district from 2010. For the Uttlesford community, this will also mean better access to facilities to study collections from your town or parish.
The project is a joint venture between the Society and Uttlesford District Council, and is made possible by a generous grant form the Heritage Lottery Fund and grants and donations from many more organisations and individuals.
