Many Happy Returns

Saffron Walden Museum celebrated its 175th birthday on 12 May this year. There was a birthday party at the Museum on Wednesday, 12 May while on the afternoon of Saturday, 15 May there was a Punch and Judy show for the children and also magic lantern shows. In the evening there was a "Museum by Moonlight" tour with lots of surprises in the shadows. Finally, as a birthday gift for all our visitors, there was free entry to the Museum from Saturday, 23 May to Sunday, 6 June.
